Description : Annuals, culms slender, to 30 cm high, loosely tufted or solitary; nodes glabrous. Leaves filiform, to 10 x 0.1 cm, glabrous, sheath rounded; ligule membranous. Racemes to 20 cm long, slender. Spikelets linear-lanceolate, 3-4-flowered, lower glume 3 x 1.5 mm, 3-lobed at apex, awned; awn to 25 mm long, capillary; paleas elliptic, 2-keeled; stamens 3.
