| Description : | An erect viscid-pubescent plant up to 1 m tall, branched. Leaves radical and cauline. sessile, variable in size, 9-28 x 3.5-9.5 cm, elliptic-oblong or oblanceolate, entire or ± wavy, cuneate to decurrent. Panicles up to 15 cm long, lax. Pedicel up to 10 mm long, glandular-pubescent. Calyx 7-9 mm long, nervose; lobes linear-lanceolate. Corolla pink, tube 3.5-4.0 cm long, limb 10 mm broad; lobes 5, acute. Anthers shorter than filaments, ± oblong; filaments ± 20 mm long. Ovary ± 2.5 mm long. Capsule 8-10 mm long, ovoid, ± included in the persistent calyx. Seeds less than 1 mm long, subglobose to angular, minutely rugose-reticulate, brown. Fl. Per.: March through August, sporadic. | |||||||||||||
